About The Position

The Overnight Building Supervisor is responsible for supervising the building during evening and weekend hours when Program Staff are unavailable. This substitute position offers the potential to become permanent. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and available Monday through Friday for overnight shifts between 8:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. The role requires responding appropriately and promptly to emergencies, addressing disciplinary matters as needed, and solving problems proactively.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year or more of related customer service experience required.
• Computer skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Availability Monday through Friday for overnight shifts between 8:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Nice To Haves

• Two years or more of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff on duty follow correct and proper procedures.
• Check that staff members are in their correct locations.
• Take the lead in emergency situations.
• Provide information to members as needed.
• Inform program staff of problems arising in their areas.
• Call for substitute staff for areas that are not staffed.
• Follow appropriate safety guidelines.
• Proactively solve problems.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective members and guests.
• Guide new members to their desired activities and areas.
• Remain knowledgeable about member information and programs.
• Perform light maintenance duties when necessary.
• Communicate concerns or incidents requiring follow-up to the direct supervisor.
• Be familiar with member information outlined in the new member handbook.
