About The Position

The Overhead Crane Operator will be responsible for operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and place machinery or materials within the paint shop. This role involves ensuring the identification of customer-supplied products is maintained, keeping the work area clean and safe, and adhering to occupational health and safety rules. Responsibilities also include unloading trucks, stacking merchandise, and safely loading, solidifying, balancing, and securing loads in trucks.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of overhead crane operation
Competence card: overhead crane
Knowledge of rigging operations and loading methods
Knowledge of best practices for loading materials in compliance with occupational health and safety principles

Nice To Haves

Spoken and written languages: French and English (asset)

Responsibilities

Comply with project requirements and applicable standards
Ensure that identification of all customer-supplied products is maintained/protected throughout operations
Keep work area clean and safe
Observe the Company's occupational health and safety rules
Operate an overhead crane to lift, move and place machinery or materials
Unload trucks
Stack merchandise
Safely load, solidify, balance and secure loads in trucks
Any other related task
