About The Position

Thryv is hiring an Outside Software Account Representative to grow and expand its SaaS client base among local businesses. The role builds a pipeline through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting, meets a predetermined sales quota, and develops additional opportunities with current Thryv clients assigned to the representative’s book of business. The representative prospects and qualifies new opportunities in an assigned territory, identifying local business owners who are a fit for Thryv’s platform. More than 50% of the work is conducted outside the representative’s home office. The representative guides prospects through the buyer’s journey, explaining how Thryv’s software can help their businesses. They execute defined sales and operational processes, including client and prospect engagement cadences, product and demo certifications, and order-entry requirements. They also participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed, and partner with marketing and technology teams on sales strategy as products are enhanced or introduced. Thryv provides digital marketing and AI-powered software to help small businesses get found, generate leads, and compete online. Its platform combines listings management, website-building tools, Google Business Profile optimization, reputation and review management, social media management, lead insights, and ad-budget optimization in a single dashboard. The role is remote-first, but requires local territory work and a valid driver’s license and personal transportation. Candidates must live within a one-hour commute of the job-posting city. The stated on-target earnings for pay area 1 (the US National Average) are $96,800 per year; the final offer may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, expertise, and assigned book of business.
