Outside Sales - HVAC & Plumbing
About The Position
Outside Sales Associates own and develop existing customer relationships and develop new customers in assigned markets. They provide superior service to Famous Supply customers in person and via phone, following the Famous Way. They help contractor customers get the materials and solutions they need, where and when they need them, so they can complete their jobs. Famous Supply is a wholesale distributor serving contractors, builders, and remodelers in the HVAC, Plumbing, Building Products, Lighting, and Industrial/PVF segments. The company is family-owned and describes its culture as purpose-driven, growth-oriented, and centered on its core values of Family, Trust, Communication, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement.
Requirements
- Technical HVAC/Plumbing knowledge.
- At least 3 years of HVAC sales experience.
- A customer service mindset.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
- Understand customer needs.
- Provide products and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Be available to support customers’ needs.
- Travel to customer shops and job sites.
- Generate new business.
- Grow existing business.
