About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking an Outside Sales Territory Manager to cover the Western Kentucky region. This is a direct hire position. As a sales representative, you will work independently and decide how to best grow your market. You will look for top solutions for both the company and our customers and deliver quality service and reliability to your customers. Your responsibilities include handling current customer accounts, growing sales and growing your accounts overall. Treat your territory as if it is your own business, use your follow up skills and help us become the company of choice for our customers. Geographical familiarity with the Western Kentucky region is an advantage. The role inherits hundreds of established accounts with expected major growth. The primary operating region includes Columbia, KY, Bowling Green, KY, Hopkinsville, KY, Paducah, KY, Owensboro, KY, and Campbellsville, KY. Customers include millwork fabricators, architectural and design firms, cabinetmakers, kitchen & bath showrooms, and wood shops. Products include cabinetry & hardware, PPE, synthetic countertops, plywood/laminates, finishes/coatings, adhesives, fasteners, abrasives, sinks, lighting, machinery, hand tools, and power tools. The compensation structure is Base (Target Salary) + Quarterly Commission Bonuses (Performance Based). An automotive allowance of $600/month (tax free) plus $0.18/mile fuel reimbursement using the "MOTUS" application is provided.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Familiarity with the Western Kentucky geography
