About The Position

Fiserv is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for its Restaurant Depot field sales team in the Garden City, New York area. The representative will introduce Clover, Fiserv’s cloud-based commerce and point-of-sale platform, to restaurant owners and other businesses. This is a 100% hunter, field-based role requiring travel within the area and collaboration with Restaurant Depot locations. The position involves in-person prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, sales conversion, and installing Clover systems and training clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment.
• At least 2 years of experience cold calling and prospecting.
• At least 2 years of experience independently generating leads.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of sales experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Proficient technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage business owners and restaurateurs at Restaurant Depot locations through face-to-face conversations to identify needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Schedule in-person appointments at clients’ restaurants or businesses to demonstrate Clover and explain how it can streamline operations and boost revenue.
• Use product knowledge and personalized consultative selling to educate prospects about POS systems and online ordering platforms and convert leads into clients.
• Install Clover systems at client locations and provide hands-on training to support smooth integration and optimal use.
• Uphold Fiserv’s ethical standards and foster genuine connections with clients and colleagues.
• Travel within the Garden City, NY area and collaborate with Restaurant Depot locations to introduce Clover to restaurant owners.
