About The Position

Fiserv is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for its Restaurant Depot field sales team in Birmingham, Alabama. The representative will introduce Clover, Fiserv’s cloud-based commerce and point-of-sale platform, to restaurant owners and other business owners. This is a 100% hunter and field-based role that involves engaging prospects at Restaurant Depot locations, arranging in-person appointments at clients’ businesses, and using consultative selling to explain how Clover’s POS and online ordering solutions can streamline operations and increase revenue. The representative will install Clover systems at client locations and provide hands-on training. The role requires travel within the Birmingham area and collaboration with Restaurant Depot locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment.
• At least 2 years of experience cold calling and prospecting.
• At least 2 years of experience independently generating leads.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of sales experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Proficient technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage business owners and restaurateurs at Restaurant Depot, initiate face-to-face conversations, identify needs, and offer tailored solutions.
• Build and nurture client relationships by scheduling in-person appointments at restaurants and other businesses.
• Demonstrate Clover solutions and explain how they can streamline operations and boost revenue.
• Use product knowledge and personalized consultative selling strategies to convert leads into clients and drive sales growth.
• Install Clover systems at client locations and provide hands-on training.
• Travel within the Birmingham, Alabama area and collaborate with Restaurant Depot locations to introduce Clover to restaurant owners.
• Uphold Fiserv’s ethical standards and foster genuine connections with clients and colleagues.
