About The Position

Hughes Exterminators is looking to hire a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time Outside Sales Representative position for commercial accounts. This role is ideal for someone who dislikes desk-bound work and enjoys interacting with new people, exceeding sales goals, and winning. Hughes Exterminators is part of the Arrow Exterminators family of brands, a family-owned and operated business since 1964, now servicing 12 states with multiple offices in each to ensure a personalized approach. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Physical ability to be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions
  • Customer service experience
  • Proven Sales ability
  • Basic math skills

Responsibilities

  • Wake up excited to meet new clients and work on prospective business deals every day.
  • Keep appointments as scheduled and perform prompt follow-up.
  • Build strong rapport and network with potential commercial customers.
  • Survey, estimate, and counsel clients on their pest control options.
  • Perform property inspections to assess pest prevention needs.
  • Use sales skills to offer solutions, recommend appropriate services, and explain associated benefits honestly, clearly, and accurately.
  • Utilize trained sales processes to achieve success.
  • Enjoy meeting new people, working at new locations, and experiencing varied daily tasks.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude to ensure success with inspections and gaining new customers.
