About The Position

Euclid Fish Company, a fourth-generation seafood and specialty food distributor with over 80 years of experience, is seeking a driven Outside Sales Account Manager to join their team. This full-time, field-based role in Columbus, OH, focuses on building and strengthening client partnerships within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional adept at identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships with restaurants, retailers, and foodservice operators, and promoting premium seafood and specialty products. This position offers independence, flexibility, and the opportunity for long-term growth within a respected, family-owned company known for its quality and service.

Requirements

  • Strong relationship-building and sales skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to occasionally lift 30–50 lbs and work in refrigerated environments when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Outside sales or foodservice industry experience
  • Background in hospitality, restaurant, or distribution sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field—or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, retailers, and foodservice operators.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular in-person client visits and account reviews.
  • Introduce seasonal, specialty, and value-added product offerings.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by offering product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Maintain consistent communication to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner with operations and internal teams to support smooth order fulfillment and service.
  • Prospect through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry connections.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and sales pitches.
  • Support product tastings, menu consultations, and promotional initiatives.
  • Manage pipeline activity and customer interactions through CRM tools.
  • Develop weekly territory plans and sales strategies.
  • Participate in sales meetings, promotions, and team initiatives.
