Requirements

Minimum three years of outreach, community relations, or other related experience.
Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., word processing, electronic spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software), email applications, social media platforms, and internet usage.
Team building skills; organizational and staff development skills.
Ability to resolve moderately complex problems.
Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and business correspondence for a diverse audience.
Ability to manipulate and analyze data.
Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills. Must be self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused.
Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with the public and staff in a personable and professional manner.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License and appropriate insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and e-mail marketing software preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience working in Early Childhood or Human Services preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees, implements, and monitors outreach strategies aimed at recruiting and engaging pregnant individuals and families with young children, including those with developmental delays and disabilities.
Identifies, establishes, and maintains collaborative relationships with key partners serving the prenatal to five population to develop and/or strengthen systematic referrals.
Participates in meetings, coordinates special events and outreach functions in the region.
Coordinates work with other groups providing prenatal to five services.
Supervises all Outreach Specialists and the Community Liaison, overseeing outreach services across Northeast Ohio, including Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Huron, Lake, and Lorain counties.
