About The Position
The Outreach Phlebotomist performs routine and special blood specimen collection for patients of all ages. The role serves as a resource for the team and maintains protocols to create a clean, calm, and safe environment for patients. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute or six months of phlebotomy experience.
- Six months of experience in a high-volume phlebotomy environment, or successful completion of an academic program that included substantial practical clinical phlebotomy experience, such as a three-week-or-longer hospital clinical student rotation or a clinical student rotation with 100 successful venipunctures.
