About The Position
As the Outreach Phlebotomist, you perform routine and special blood specimen collection for patients of all ages. You are a resource for your team and maintain protocols to create a clean, calm and safe environment for patients. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute or six months of phlebotomy experience.
- Six months of experience in a high-volume phlebotomy environment, or successful completion of an academic program that included substantial practical clinical phlebotomy experience, such as a three-or-more-week clinical student rotation in a hospital setting or a clinical student rotation with 100 successful venipunctures completed.
