About The Position

Northeast Family Services (NFS) is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join their growing team. NFS is a premier provider of behavioral health services in the region, offering competitive rates and incentives for outpatient services provided on-site at one of their five Massachusetts locations. Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them realize their full potential using various therapeutic approaches. The role offers flexible scheduling with options for 5 to 30-hour work weeks, with both full-time salaried and flexible hourly fee-for-service (FFS) positions available. All clinicians are W-2 employees, ensuring stable compensation even for client cancellations in full-time roles.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
• Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years
• Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
• Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

• Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
• Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
• Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
• Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary
