About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking licensed outpatient clinicians with TF-CBT training or certification and experience treating PTSD and complex trauma. The clinician will provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care to clients who have experienced trauma, bringing clinical expertise and a compassionate presence to treatment. The role is a hybrid opportunity at the New Rochelle and Bronx clinic locations and is fee-for-service, with flexible scheduling. Language differentials are available for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, and Hindi, along with premiums for non-English language capacity, experience, and selected clinical specialties.

Requirements

• Active New York State LCSW or LMHC-D license.
• TF-CBT training or certification.
• Experience treating complex trauma and PTSD.
• Comfort working with trauma survivors.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship or takeover of sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, or Hindi language capacity.
• Experience or expertise in selected clinical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma assessment and case conceptualization.
• Perform safety planning and suicide risk assessment.
• Use grounding techniques and support emotional regulation.
• Apply cognitive restructuring and reframing.
• Build therapeutic alliances with trauma survivors.
• Use a culturally humble and trauma-sensitive approach.
• Provide family therapy and attachment-focused interventions.
• Complete documentation and treatment planning.
