About The Position

Provides clinical leadership within an outpatient behavioral health program while delivering high-fidelity, evidence-based Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (“TF-CBT”) to children, adolescents, and their caregivers experiencing the effects of trauma, including those with co-occurring developmental or neurodevelopmental conditions when clinically appropriate. This role maintains a specialized TF-CBT caseload, conducts trauma-informed assessments, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, provides crisis intervention as needed. This is a non-supervisory role.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in psychology or related discipline.
  • Must hold an active Pennsylvania clinical license in Psychology or a related field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent), in good standing.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices.
  • Formal, active certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is required.
  • Must have own transportation, possess a current/valid Driver’s License, an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as mandated by Woods’ insurance company.
  • Local travel is expected.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, be agile, physically pursue clients on foot, physically restrain, bend, squat, stretch, reach, push up and stand for several hours at a time
  • Must obtain and maintain an active CPR and First Aid Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in select evidence-based practice is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the field of social services and working with children and adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and supports a trauma-informed treatment milieu designed to address the specialized treatment needs of program participants in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Provides individual, group, and family therapy services utilizing high-fidelity TF-CBT protocols, alongside other clinically appropriate interventions.
  • Conducts comprehensive initial and follow-up trauma-informed assessments using reliable and valid assessment tools to identify clinical needs, monitor symptom progression, and guide individualized treatment planning.
  • Collaborates with program participants and caregivers to develop individualized treatment and wellness/resiliency plans that identify measurable social, emotional, behavioral, and trauma recovery goals. Monitors progress towards treatment goals and outcome measures.
  • Collects and analyzes clinical and behavioral data to evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor progress, and inform ongoing therapeutic interventions.
  • Participate in weekly individual TF-CBT supervision to review case conceptualization, monitor treatment progress, address clinical challenges, and ensure fidelity to the TF-CBT model.
  • Attend regular TF-CBT consultation groups to strengthen clinical skills, collaborate with peers on case discussions, and promote adherence to evidence-based TF-CBT practices.
  • Provides crisis assessment, stabilization, and intervention services.
  • Maintains accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Maintains required professional licensure, TF-CBT certification or training, credentials, and continuing education in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs the skills of CPR, the use of the AED, and First Aid on a resident in need, without delay.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
