About The Position

Iris Telehealth is seeking a passionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO) licensed in California for a fully remote, outpatient role. This position involves treating patients ages 13+ with various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, substance use disorders, and dual diagnoses. The role offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with initial evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-up appointments lasting 30 minutes. A dedicated 60 minutes per day is allocated for administrative tasks. The position is 100% remote, requiring the provider to reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory and work during PST business hours. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and provides comprehensive support from both onsite telehealth staff and Iris Telehealth's clinical and operational teams. There are no on-call duties.

Requirements

Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
Active California medical license (MD or DO).
Availability for 40 hours per week during PST business hours.
Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels.
Experience treating adolescents and adults (ages 13+).
Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality behavioral health care to patients ages 13+ in an outpatient setting.
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes) and follow-up appointments (30 minutes).
Treat patients with diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, and complex trauma.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology.
Complete administrative tasks, with 60 minutes allocated per day.
Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR system.
Focus on delivering impactful care to underserved communities.
