About The Position

Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) is a growing multidisciplinary private behavioral health practice serving communities throughout Wisconsin through outpatient clinics, school-based services, and statewide telehealth programs. We are seeking a compassionate and visionary Medical Doctor (Psychiatric) who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while helping shape the future of behavioral health services. This role offers more than a traditional clinical position. As BHC continues to expand, this physician will have the opportunity to develop into a Medical Leadership role, partnering with executive leadership to drive clinical excellence, mentor providers, strengthen quality initiatives, and influence the strategic direction of psychiatric services across our organization. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active Wisconsin medical license (or eligible for licensure)
  • Active or eligible DEA registration
  • Strong commitment to collaborative, patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional psychiatric care.
  • Help shape the future of behavioral health across Wisconsin.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on clinical excellence, quality initiatives, provider mentorship, and program development.
  • Provide clinical mentorship and support for psychiatric providers.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of medical providers.
  • Develop clinical standards and evidence-based best practices.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth.
  • Contribute to program development and service expansion.
  • Advance into a Medical Director or physician leadership role as the organization grows.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
  • Perform medication management.
  • Provide care for child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry patients.
  • Collaborate with therapists and psychologists.
  • Work with specialty populations based on expertise.
  • Provide school-based behavioral health consultation.
  • Offer telepsychiatry and in-person clinical services.
