Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Florida OTA license.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.
• Strong documentation, time-management, and communication skills.
• Compassionate, resident-focused, and collaborative mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification, as required by facility or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to coordinate goal-driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
