About The Position

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is hiring a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a collaborative clinical environment. The role focuses on helping patients improve independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered therapy and functional outcomes. The COTA works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and partners with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff. The position emphasizes quality outcomes, continuity of care, clinical autonomy, and professional growth.

Requirements

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.
