Occupational Therapy Assistant OTA Part Time
About The Position
Valley View is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for its Rehab Department. This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week and includes coverage of weekend shifts. The OTA assists the Occupational Therapist in treating patients. The role requires an Associate of Arts degree, demonstrated occupational therapy skills, and verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. Candidates must have American Heart Association BLS with a card in hand or be willing to obtain it within three months of hire. The listed experience range is 0–6 months. Valley View is unable to sponsor work visas. The salary range is $27.94 to $41.08 per hour, with entry salary dependent on education, skill set, and experience. The position will remain open for at least three days and until a top applicant is identified.
Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree.
- Demonstrated ability to perform occupational therapy skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- American Heart Association BLS certification with card in hand, or willingness to obtain it within three months of hire.
- Listed experience range: 0–6 months.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
