About The Position
Synergy SpineCare & Rehabilitation Medicine, P.C. is a physiatrist-owned professional corporation which provides evaluations and treatments for spine, sports, musculoskeletal, disabling, and other painful conditions. Patients include people with everyday aches and pains, athletes, and car and work accident victims. Everyone we see is unique, and we take the time to listen and develop a proper diagnosis. We are a small, but well-organized practice offering flexibility and good HR/administrative support enabling docs to productively focus on the patients.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible with American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
- Basic EMG skills or enthusiasm to hone skills with on-the-job mentorship
Nice To Haves
- MSK Ultrasound and/or Interventional skills a plus but not required
- Bilingual or Willing to Work with Interpreter for non-English speaking patients
Responsibilities
- 100% Outpatient PM&R – No Call
- Conduct New/Established patient evaluations
- Refer for diagnostic X-rays and/or MRI's
- Develop treatment plans as indicated such as Physical therapy Prescriptions, Joint/Soft-tissue injections with/without ultrasound, Medication Prescriptions, Surgical/Specialist Referrals, Electrodiagnostic testing
- Perform or Refer for Interventional Pain/Spine Procedures
- Document with Electronic Health Records
