About The Position

Pacific Skin Institute is currently seeking a general dermatologist to join our private practice in Folsom, CA. This is a busy, fast-paced dermatology clinic with excellent support staff, offering a 3-4 day work week and bi-weekly didactic meetings in a collegial team environment. The position includes a base salary guarantee to start, transitioning to a production model with earning potential and ancillary income. There is no after-hours call, no patient messaging system, and no weekends. For those who have completed formal schooling and graduated from a physician residency program within the last 5 years, PSI will assist in applying for the Loan Repayment Program.

Requirements

• Completed formal schooling and graduated from a physician residency program within the last 5 years
• BC/BE in dermatology
• Ability to obtain/maintain California medical license

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient skin condition(s)
• Assess and update patient medical history
• Keep a record of patient symptoms
• Analyze all information regarding skin health conditions
• Prescribe medication
• Inform patients about available treatments
• Monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments
• Conduct medical procedures
• Educate patients on preventive skin care
• Refer patients to other specialists if needed
