Board-Certified Dermatologist
About The Position
Pacific Skin Institute is currently seeking a general dermatologist to join our private practice in Folsom, CA. This is a busy, fast-paced dermatology clinic with excellent support staff, offering a 3-4 day work week and bi-weekly didactic meetings in a collegial team environment. The position includes a base salary guarantee to start, transitioning to a production model with significant earning potential and ancillary income. There is no after-hours call, no patient messaging system, and no weekend work. For those who have completed formal schooling and graduated from a physician residency program within the last 5 years, PSI will assist in applying for the Loan Repayment Program.
Requirements
- BC/BE in dermatology
- Ability to obtain/maintain California medical license
- Completed formal schooling and graduated from a physician residency program within the last 5 years
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient skin condition(s)
- Assess and update patient medical history
- Keep a record of patient symptoms
- Analyze all information regarding skin health conditions
- Prescribe medication
- Inform patients about available treatments
- Monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments
- Conduct medical procedures
- Educate patients on preventive skin care
- Refer patients to other specialists if needed
