Outpatient and Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist
About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking an Outpatient and Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist. The department provides a full continuum of behavioral health care, from emergency evaluation and intensive care through partial hospitalization, outpatient follow-up, homecare, and skilled nursing facility consultation. Its multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, and occupational therapists. The department is growing and comprises more than 30 psychiatrists and 120 mental health professionals, as well as residency and fellowship programs. The role offers the opportunity to design a position across areas including inpatient psychiatry, consultation/liaison psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, and child/adolescent psychiatry. LVHN also offers mentorship and professional development opportunities within a large healthcare organization. The position is onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and works day shift.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
- A current Pennsylvania medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.
