Outpatient and Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist
About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Department of Psychiatry provides a continuum of behavioral health care, including emergency evaluation, intensive care, partial hospitalization, outpatient follow-up, homecare, and skilled nursing facility consultation. The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, and occupational therapists. Services include inpatient behavioral health care, short-term individual, couples, family, and group therapy, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. The department has more than 30 psychiatrists and 120 mental health professionals, along with residency and fellowship programs. The role offers an opportunity to shape a position across areas such as inpatient, consultation/liaison, outpatient, and child/adolescent psychiatry, with mentorship and professional development within a large healthcare organization.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
- A current Pennsylvania medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.
