About The Position

The Server is responsible for taking the guests through the key phase of their Hard Rock experience. As a Hard Rock Cafe Server, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, decision-maker, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart). This job description reflects the position’s essential functions; it does not encompass all of the tasks that may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to take the guests through the key phase of their Hard Rock experience.
Must be able to assume the role of tour guide, communicator, decision-maker, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart).
Must be able to take guests' orders.
Must be able to run food.
Must be able to handle cash & other forms of payment.
Must be able to make proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system.
Must be able to properly check I.D.s – for guests who appear to be under 30 years old.
Must demonstrate responsible alcohol service.
Must demonstrate impeccable product knowledge.
Must be able to use suggestive selling - using proven techniques.
Must be able to answer questions - accurately and politely.
Must be able to satisfy any/all needs of the guests - regularly double checking back with guests throughout their experience.
Must be able to maintain a clean & organized station – including pre-bussing & table maintenance.
Must be able to perform opening, closing & side duties – setting up/breaking down station, refilling condiments, cleaning ashtrays, etc.
Must demonstrate knowledge of all table/station numbers.
Must be able to direct guests to areas & restrooms.
Must be able to create memorable experiences.
Must be able to entertain guests to create “Raving Fans.”

Responsibilities
