About The Position

Omni Fort Worth is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious line cook to prepare hot and cold dishes for hotel food and beverage outlets. The role offers an opportunity to refine existing culinary abilities and develop additional skills while working in a variety of cuisine types. The position includes a $300 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation, and safety.
Ability to remain active, including standing for 8 or more hours per day.
Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of culinary experience preferred.
Experience operating at least one culinary station.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items for the outlets in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks as necessary.
Operate at least one kitchen station, such as Sauté, Grill, or Garde Manger, or another station as assigned.
Maintain the cleanliness of hot and cold preparation stations and surrounding culinary areas.
Organize and prepare current and future requisitions.
Communicate relevant menu and dietary changes effectively between shifts.
