About The Position

Bachman’s is hiring a seasonal Outdoor Stock Associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role supports outdoor stock operations by stocking and caring for plants, receiving and preparing merchandise, maintaining work and customer areas, and assisting customers and other departments. Work takes place in weather extremes, including heat, cold, and wet conditions, and requires standing and walking on hard surfaces for the entire shift while working at a fast pace. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent bending using proper lifting techniques. The schedule is flexible within retail store hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Associates are expected to work at least half of the weekend days each month, preferably more in May. Shifts during Mother’s Day weekend are required. Compensation is $16.37 per hour. Requirements

Responsibilities

Stock products and care for plants.
Perform daily opening and closing tasks.
Maintain the loading dock and customer hold area.
Receive and verify product arrivals, ensuring quality standards and billing accuracy; unpack and price merchandise.
Provide carry-out service and retrieve carts from the parking lot.
Assist other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
