About The Position

This role plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through CIVANA’s outdoor wellness offerings. This position oversees the scheduling, staffing, and execution of outdoor programs including hikes, bike rides, and private/group excursions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, guest-focused, and passionate about the outdoors and wellness.

Requirements

Active Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification
2+ years of experience in outdoor programming, wellness, recreation, or hospitality.
Proven experience leading or supervising teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with outdoor safety standards, equipment, and guest service.
Passion for wellness, nature, and delivering elevated guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) the outdoor guides team to ensure alignment with CIVANA’s wellness vision.
Schedule and staff outdoor programs in accordance with the master programming calendar, group bookings, and private sessions.
Maintain the inventory and cleanliness of all outdoor equipment, including bikes, helmets, and backpacks.
Coordinate van usage, including scheduling and ensuring maintenance needs are communicated with the engineering team.
Oversee onboarding and training for outdoor guides, ensuring brand and safety standards are met across all programming.
Ensure necessary permits are obtained and paid for; manage and process third-party vendor invoices for review and payment.
