Outbound Warehouse Team Lead-Mandarin Required
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outbound Warehouse Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in warehouse operations and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of outbound shipments, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. The Team Lead will assist the Warehouse Supervisor in daily operations, lead a team of warehouse associates, and maintain a safe and organized work environment. Mandarin language proficiency is required for this position.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of picking, order verification, packing, labeling, loading, and shipping procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet shipping deadlines.
- Good communication, coordination, team-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform warehouse-related physical tasks as needed.
- Mandarin language proficiency required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience leading frontline employees or a warehouse team is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, cross-border logistics, or overseas warehouse operations is preferred.
- Experience using WMS, PDA/RF scanners, barcode scanners, or similar warehouse systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating daily outbound operations.
- Lead team members in picking, order verification, packing, labeling, loading, and shipping.
- Assign daily tasks based on order volume, workload, and shipping priorities.
- Monitor work progress and quality to reduce incorrect shipments, missing items, product damage, and shipping delays.
- Verify orders, SKUs, quantities, shipping labels, and carrier information.
- Train new employees on outbound procedures, equipment use, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Identify and promptly report order issues, inventory discrepancies, equipment problems, and safety concerns.
- Assist with attendance monitoring, workflow management, employee coordination, and shift handoffs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized outbound work area.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
