About The Position

We are seeking a driven and experienced Outbound Warehouse Manager (Nights) to lead and optimize our outbound warehouse operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring high service levels across order selection, replenishment, shipping, and loading functions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment, leverages data and systems to improve performance, and builds high-performing teams aligned with company standards and service commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L budgets and operational expenses.
  • Proven experience implementing new systems and operational procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coordinate team members at all levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and apply training effectively.
  • Must be able to perform essential duties efficiently, accurately, and safely, with or without accommodation.
  • Must comply with all company policies and applicable state, federal, and safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Manhattan Associates WMS is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all nightly outbound warehouse activities including order selection, replenishment, restocking, product location, and shipping.
  • Maintain workflow continuity and proactively manage staffing to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient order fulfillment.
  • Drive productivity while maintaining established procedures, processes, and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure manifests, invoices, and all related documentation are processed accurately and on time.
  • Hire, train, develop, and evaluate team members, including direct reports.
  • Define and communicate duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability expectations.
  • Reassign workforce as needed to maintain proper staffing levels and meet productivity goals.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and performance recognition.
  • Ensure all warehouse team members comply with company policies, safety standards, and city, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and personnel records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the VP of Operations with budget development and adherence to P&L requirements.
  • Monitor labor and operational expenses to maintain cost controls.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure high service levels are maintained.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain programs that enhance productivity, accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Leverage ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to analyze data, optimize workflows, and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Support implementation of new systems, processes, and operational improvements.
