Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous clerical experience and (1) one-year experience in a warehouse environment required.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office.
  • Strong data-entry with high rate of accuracy preferred.
  • Excellent communication, grammar, verbal and writing skills.
  • Must be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction (internal and external).
  • High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible.
  • Must be able to carry 20 pounds, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, climb, bend, and walk.
  • May need to drive between stores as per assignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Unloading discrepancy report experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the warehouse management with various day-to-day tasks and projects.
  • Creates and maintains warehouse employee productivity reports.
  • Distributes work assignments per manager’s direction.
  • Analyzes, prints and distributes production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, and/or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
  • Communicates issues and action taken / needed with Warehouse Supervisor daily.
  • Responds timely to requests for data or correspondence from files as requested within an appropriate time frame.
  • Researches inventory issues conveyed through company hotline, and compiles error information spreadsheets.
  • Communicates effectively with internal customers in regard to orders processed.
  • Interacts with all levels of workforce, including management.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as requested.
  • Maintains good attendance.
  • Maintains safe work practices.
