About The Position

An Outbound Loader is a warehouse professional responsible for efficiently loading, stacking, and securing products into trailers, containers, or trucks for shipment. They ensure orders are accurate and, often using RF scanners check for damage, maintain load stability to protect cargo, and adhere strictly to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Frequently lifting/moving items
• Standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling for long periods.
• Checking orders for accuracy to prevent shipping errors.
• Coordinating with coworkers and drivers to ensure timely dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading and stacking merchandise onto pallets, conveyors, or trailers.
• Verifying that the correct products are loaded according to shipping orders.
• Adhering to all safety procedures (e.g., OSHA), which may involve working in cold/warm environments.
• Operating material handling equipment, such as sit down forklift and cherry picker.
• Utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory and shipment movements.
