About The Position

Hungryroot is hiring an Outbound Supervisor to join its Operations team at the Hiram, Georgia fulfillment center. This on-site role plans and coordinates shift activities to ensure the fulfillment center follows required procedures and documentation. The supervisor assists the Operations Manager with planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to support efficient and accurate outbound operations. The position provides hands-on team leadership, oversees productivity and performance, and helps achieve fulfillment, order-accuracy, and on-time-shipping goals.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of fulfillment experience, including experience in an automated pick environment.
• At least 5 years leading a team in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
• Self-motivated, with a high sense of urgency; resourceful and adaptable.
• Continuous improvement experience, such as 5S or Kaizen.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvements, KPIs, and financial results.
• Hands-on experience with WMS and/or ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Food and beverage facility experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage and lead the team as a hands-on leader.

• Direct, guide, train, and coach warehouse staff.
• Manage, evaluate, and report fulfillment productivity and efficiency.
• Prepare work schedules and assign work as applicable.
• Ensure processes and policies are followed.
• Recommend improvements to drive quality and productivity.
• Monitor shift performance and KPIs.
• Compile production and personnel statistics into spreadsheets or databases.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Achieve fulfillment goals, order accuracy, and on-time shipping.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Communicate and partner with other departments and vendors.
• Approve time in the payroll system.
