The Outbound Sales Development Representative role is responsible for generating qualified and engaged leads for the sales team by researching, prospecting, and qualifying contacts. The role utilizes a technology stack with AI tools to identify and attract customers.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking)
  • 1+ year in retail/hospitality/software sales ideally
  • Post Secondary Education
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM is ideal
  • Intermediate computer skills desired
  • Someone that can navigate through multiple apps/platforms with ease
  • Energetic, outgoing, charismatic, not afraid to overcome objections
  • Someone who can have a casual business conversation and convince prospects to attend a platform overview demo
  • Ability to follow a tailored talk track and make 85-95 calls daily

Responsibilities

  • Researching, prospecting and qualifying leads in various verticals and geographic locations across Canada
  • Contact prospects through outbound phone calls
  • Enthusiastically working on outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner
  • Successfully and accurately answering prospect questions and providing appropriate additional information to the Account Executives
  • Achieving defined productivity goals
  • Working closely with the SDR Manager in order to build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
