Outbound Sales Development Representative
About The Position
Net2phone Canada is a VoIP telecommunications provider for businesses in Canada, offering communication solutions accessible via browser, mobile device, and desk phone. The company focuses on Customer Success, tailoring VoIP platforms and communication services to client needs with speed, knowledge, precision, and friendliness. The Outbound Sales Development Representative role is responsible for generating qualified and engaged leads for the sales team by researching, prospecting, and qualifying contacts. The role utilizes a technology stack with AI tools to identify and attract customers.
Requirements
- Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking)
- 1+ year in retail/hospitality/software sales ideally
- Post Secondary Education
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM is ideal
- Intermediate computer skills desired
- Someone that can navigate through multiple apps/platforms with ease
- Energetic, outgoing, charismatic, not afraid to overcome objections
- Someone who can have a casual business conversation and convince prospects to attend a platform overview demo
- Ability to follow a tailored talk track and make 85-95 calls daily
Responsibilities
- Researching, prospecting and qualifying leads in various verticals and geographic locations across Canada
- Contact prospects through outbound phone calls
- Enthusiastically working on outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner
- Successfully and accurately answering prospect questions and providing appropriate additional information to the Account Executives
- Achieving defined productivity goals
- Working closely with the SDR Manager in order to build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
