About The Position

HubSpot is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their growth engine. This role is ideal for individuals who are driven by results, eager to compete, and aim to build a long-term career in tech sales. As a BDR, you will be the initial point of contact for prospective customers, initiating conversations through strategic outreach, identifying customer pain points, and qualifying leads. You will collaborate with Account Executives to schedule high-quality meetings that contribute to pipeline, impact, and revenue. This position is designed as the first step in a growth-oriented sales career, offering opportunities to develop skills, embrace feedback, and advance rapidly within the company. It is not a temporary or introductory role, but rather the foundation for a successful sales career at HubSpot.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute outbound prospecting through high-volume outreach (60–100+ activities/day) via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to target strategic accounts and refine outreach strategy.
  • Qualify leads based on fit, need, and urgency — and book quality discovery meetings.
  • Hit (and exceed) KPIs for activity, meetings delivered, and pipeline impact.
  • Grow fast. Learn fast. Get coached. Apply it. Repeat.

  • On-target commission: $23,000 annually
  • OTE (on-target earnings): $76,800 annually
