About The Position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a key role focused on driving top-of-funnel growth for Prophetic Software. This position involves identifying and engaging with target prospects, including homebuilders, residential developers, and real estate investors, to generate qualified pipeline for the Account Executive team. The role requires proactive research, crafting personalized outreach, and conducting meaningful conversations about Prophetic's platform. Additionally, the BDR will support early-stage partnership development by identifying and engaging potential channel partners. This role offers a clear growth path to a full-cycle Account Executive or Business Development Team Manager position.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through self-directed outbound activities (LinkedIn, cold email, phone).
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, specific, and non-templated outreach.
  • Comfort with CRM hygiene, including logging activity and keeping sequences up-to-date.
  • Fluency with AI tooling for prospect research, outreach drafting, and call preparation.
  • Genuine curiosity about the customer's business and industry.
  • Resilience and consistency in daily work, with a focus on learning from outcomes and meeting targets.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or strong interest in real estate, construction, proptech, or land development.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms like HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, or Salesloft.
  • Conference or event experience, including working a booth or following up on event leads.
  • Experience supporting or transitioning into a partnership or channel role.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify high-fit prospects across homebuilders, residential developers, and land investors using various data sources.
  • Execute targeted outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone, personalizing outreach based on prospect profiles.
  • Book qualified discovery calls and demos for Account Executives, focusing on pipeline generated and meetings held.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, logging all touchpoints and updating contact information.
  • Actively engage on LinkedIn to build a presence and connect with decision-makers.
  • Identify potential channel partners and conduct initial outreach to warm up relationships.
  • Support partnership pipeline tracking in CRM.
  • Assist with conference and event preparation, including researching attendees and scheduling meetings.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on account targeting and messaging refinement.
  • Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and contribute to forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up and converting inbound leads.
