About The Position

The OSA Technician ensures the efficient daily management of Operating Room supplies, equipment, instruments, and repairs. The technician processes, tracks, and receives orders and maintains accurate order files. The role ensures Operating Room supply storage areas are stocked daily with appropriate quantities and types of supplies, assists in managing the O.R. Materials Section, and works with O.R. staff and other hospital departments to support an efficient Operating Room supply system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• General experience in a health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Operating Room supplies, equipment, instruments, and repairs efficiently on a daily basis.
• Process, track, and receive orders for supplies, equipment, instruments, and repairs.
• Maintain accurate files relating to orders.
• Ensure Operating Room supply storage areas are stocked daily with the appropriate amount and type of supply.
• Assist in the overall management of the O.R. Materials Section.
• Work with O.R. staff and other hospital departments to ensure the efficiency of the O.R. supply system.
