About The Position
Piedmont Orthopedics is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a growing, hospital-employed program. The role involves operating within a healthcare system that includes two hospital EDs and a freestanding Level II Trauma Center, with plans for a Level III designation upgrade in 2026. This is an opportunity to build a practice in a high-acuity environment with state-of-the-art surgical infrastructure and a supportive team.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in trauma surgery required
- Experienced Orthopedic Surgeon preferred
Responsibilities
- Primary surgical focus on inpatient trauma
- Some outpatient care
- Call coverage for York County's only trauma center (Level II, upgrading to Level III in 2026)
