About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Cottonwood, AZ. This role involves both hospital and clinic settings, requiring clinical duties and 24-hour call coverage. The coverage period spans from August 7, 2026, to August 10, 2026, and September 28, 2026, to October 1, 2026. The physician will manage adult patients, performing an average of 2 surgical cases and 6 consults per day. Key responsibilities include managing pelvic and acetabular fractures and providing pediatric orthopedic care.

Requirements

• Active AZ license (IMLC LOQ considered)
• BC or BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• DEA required
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage with beeper
• Perform surgical cases (average 2/day)
• Manage new consults (average 6/day)
• Manage pelvic and acetabular fractures
• Provide pediatric orthopedic care
