Orthopedic Surgery Physician - Sports Medicine
About The Position
Join a large, well-established orthopedic group serving the Coachella Valley. This is a full-time, employed orthopedic sports medicine position within a dynamic, fellowship-trained team dedicated to delivering comprehensive orthopedic care. The role offers access to cutting-edge technology, including MAKO robotic-assisted surgical systems, and provides a rare opportunity to build a thriving sports medicine practice in a high-volume, full-support environment backed by the strength of the Desert Care Network. The position includes a high-volume clinic averaging 50 patients per day, a Monday-Friday schedule, and a 1:8 call rotation across multiple facilities. An outpatient surgery center is within walking distance of the clinic, and MAKO robotic-assisted surgical technology is available at affiliated hospitals. A dedicated clinical support team is provided.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sports Medicine
- Eligible for California medical licensure
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive orthopedic care with a focus on sports medicine.
- Build a thriving sports medicine practice.
- See an average of 50 patients per day in a high-volume clinic.
- Participate in a 1:8 call rotation across multiple facilities.
- Utilize MAKO robotic-assisted surgical systems.
