About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Orthopedic Surgeon to join their well-established practice at FPN Coolspring Health Center in Michigan City, Indiana. The team of orthopedic surgeons offers a comprehensive orthopedic program specializing in the prevention and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. They utilize advanced techniques and technology to restore function, minimize chronic pain, and help patients return to an active lifestyle.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified General Orthopedic Surgeon
• Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Doctorate - Required
• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care, specializing in the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize advanced techniques and technology to restore function and minimize chronic pain.
• Work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation.
• See an average of 25-30 outpatients per day.
• Perform an average of 7-12 surgical cases per week.
• Offer telehealth services.
