About The Position

Signature Healthcare is seeking a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine Surgery to join the Department of Orthopedics within our integrated community healthcare system in Southeastern Massachusetts. This role offers a strong, established sports medicine program with opportunities to treat athletes of all ages and activity levels. The position involves a collaborative partnership with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) for complex case consultation and coordinated patient care. Support is provided by a fellowship-trained non-operative Sports Medicine physician with an active concussion evaluation and treatment program. The role also includes integrated community outreach through Signature Healthcare-employed Athletic Trainers serving local high schools and colleges. The orthopedic trauma call rotation is 1:5.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
Board eligibility or certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS/AAOS eligible).
Demonstrated experience and commitment to sports injury evaluation, treatment, and surgical management.

Responsibilities

Participate in orthopedic trauma call rotation.
