About The Position
Dignity Health Medical Group – North State is seeking a new grad or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join their well-established Orthopedic team in Redding, CA. This position will work with an experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. The role involves a combination of outpatient clinic and OR responsibilities, with a typical schedule of 2 days in the OR and 2 days in the clinic per week, though schedules may vary. Clinical duties include consultations, follow-ups, and procedures, as well as ordering and interpreting diagnostics. The position is based at a single hospital and clinic site, offering an excellent work-life balance in a supportive, team-oriented setting within a beautiful Northern California community known for its affordable real estate, top-rated schools, and year-round outdoor recreation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted California license and certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Orthopedic Surgery recommended
- First-assist surgical experience
- Comfort in both clinic and OR settings
