The APP will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary orthopedic clinical team by providing access to care and orthopedic evaluation. Flexible schedule FT 3.5-4 days a week to cover orthopedic urgent care and walk in evaluation including sprains strains fractures in patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics. Responsibilities include patient assessments, in office procedure such as injection, aspirations, I&D, fracture reduction, splinting and casting. Cast tech and radiology tech support on site. Be a part of an orthopedic team including 9 APPs and 9 surgeons with specialties on site including orthopedic joint replacement, sports medicine, pediatrics, foot and ankle, hand/upper extremity, and trauma providers. Weekly admin time with full time employment. No surgical or call duties included. Variable Shift Job Summary: Participates in team focused patient care by means of patient examinations augmented by diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations/ interventions in the medical and/or surgical theatres of health care. The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.
