About The Position

Spine surgery is a critical and high-stakes field within orthopedics, dealing with patients who have often exhausted conservative treatments and are experiencing significant pain and fear. This role is for a surgeon who understands the complexities of patient care and is looking to practice within a system that prioritizes patient well-being over administrative hurdles. Genesis offers a unique opportunity to practice within a full-spectrum Musculoskeletal (MSK) platform that includes 16 clinics across Chicagoland, integrating surgery with physical therapy. The practice model emphasizes surgery as a last resort, providing the necessary clinical infrastructure to exhaust conservative care options like physical therapy, injections, imaging, and pain management before considering surgical intervention. The position offers a high-volume patient population that is underserved and requires thorough, individualized treatment. This is a partnership-track role with significant equity potential for a surgeon committed to building and advancing the practice.
