About The Position

CHI Health Orthopaedics is expanding and seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a busy Orthopedic Physician specializing in adult total hip and knee replacement. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or experienced Physician Assistant to gain experience in both clinic settings and operating room assistance with a high-producing orthopedic physician. The practice features sub-specialized orthopedic physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, along with dedicated support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care. Services include total hip and knee replacement surgery, fracture care, scopes, stabilization, and treatment for tendon/nerve damage. Operating room experience is not required, as the physician is willing to provide training for candidates interested in surgical first assisting.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
• A valid and unrestricted state license or license-eligible
• A valid and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration

Nice To Haves

• First assist experience in orthopedic surgery is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• See patients in the clinic.
• Provide operating assistance with orthopedic surgeries.
