Physician - General Orthopaedic Surgeon
About The Position
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and Department of Orthopaedics seeks a General Orthopaedic surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to practice at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, WV. The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVU Medicine is West Virginia University’s affiliated health system, West Virginia’s largest private employer, and a national leader in patient safety and quality. Requirements
- Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
- Successful candidate must have completed orthopaedic surgery residency program and be board certified / eligible in orthopaedic surgery.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
