About The Position

Red Rock Orthodontics is seeking a skilled, passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join its well-established, patient-centered practice. The role supports the orthodontist during clinical procedures and patient appointments, helps maintain treatment rooms and instruments, and supports patients with education and care. The practice emphasizes exceptional patient care, advanced orthodontic treatment options, patient comfort, and personalized service. Requirements

• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures and patient appointments.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments.
• Take orthodontic records, including photos, X-rays, and impressions, as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions.
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, including its core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
