About The Position

The Ortho RN assesses patient status, manages pain, assists with mobility and recovery, supports post-surgical healing, and educates patients on rehabilitation, safe movement, and injury prevention. The role is based in Maryville, Tennessee, and requires floating as needed according to the nurse’s skill set. Travelers must have experience in MS/Tele in case of floating and must complete an EKG exam and MS/Tele competency requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the specialty.
• At least 1 year of Epic charting experience.
• Traveler experience is required.
• MS/Tele experience is required in case of floating.
• Must complete an EKG exam and MS/Tele competency requirements.
• Must have an active Tennessee RN license or multistate license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Flu vaccination is required; no exemptions.
• Weekend coverage is every other weekend and may change based on need.
